BIOGRAPHY

Prof Sue Walker is the Principal Researcher at the Agricultural Research Council – Natural Resources and Engineering in Pretoria. She leads national and regional projects advancing agroecology and climate-smart agriculture, including the development of e-learning modules for sustainable resource management.

Sue, Professor Emeritus of Agrometeorology at the University of the Free State, has supervised numerous PhDs and authored extensive scientific publications. Her research transforms climate data into practical insights, helping farming communities in semi-arid regions co-develop strategies for resilience and sustainable productivity.
