BIOGRAPHY

Srabani Das is an Assistant Professor and Specialist of Cooperative Extension in Regenerative Agriculture at UC ANR and the University of California, Merced. She holds statewide responsibility for research and extension in regenerative agriculture and works to make regenerative tools and resources equitable for all grower communities.

Srabani specializes in soil health, agricultural soil carbon sequestration, sustainable bioenergy cropping, food sovereignty, and multi-stakeholder dialogue processes. Her work bridges scientific research with practical, community-centred approaches to advancing resilient and sustainable agricultural systems across California.
