Jacob Parnell is the Director of Agronomy at Biome Makers, where he drives the development of innovative solutions for soil health and promotes resilient farming practices globally. He is an expert in soil biology, metagenomics, and microbial ecology with a career spanning academia, industry, and international policy.

Jacob's experience includes leading microbe discovery platforms at Novozymes, designing the terrestrial microbial strategy at the National Ecological Observatory Network, and serving as a Soil Biodiversity Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations on global sustainable agriculture initiatives.
